On February 22, 2024, Cafe Kringel opened along a national highway in the town of Brimuro, Tokachi, Hokkaido. This cozy, homey cafe offers a full lineup of sweets, including Kringel Danish, a cute heart-shaped pie crust topped with strawberries, cream, and blueberries.
In this issue, we will introduce the charm of Cafe Kringel, which has been gaining popularity since its opening.
Healing space with a small forest outside the window
The cafe features delicious lunches and sweets that can be enjoyed casually, and a small forest spreading outside the large windows. Drinking coffee while feeling the seasons in the forest, which shows various expressions, is truly a moment of bliss. The open space where you can relax surrounded by nature is gaining popularity, especially among women.
The name of the restaurant means "bell" in German
Cafe Kringel is run by "Memuro Planning," an event planning and management company in the town of Memuro. They opened the cafe on their own premises. The name "Kringel" means "bell" in German. It expresses the wish that the feelings and individuality of the people who support us will continue to ring. Upon entering the store, you will be greeted cheerfully by the staff, who are full of budding love. The stylish and relaxing cafe is always crowded with people from in and out of town.
The very popular sweet "Klingel Danish
The signature item here is the Klingel Danish. There are more than 10 varieties, including the most popular "Strawberry," "Memuro Peanut," which takes advantage of local characteristics, and the seasonal flavor "Sakura" (780 yen each)! They also go great with Obihiro Sawara Coffee's special blend. In addition to Klingel Danish, a wide variety of sweets such as cheesecake with sea berries, croffle, and chocolate cake will welcome you.
A full lineup of food items such as Neapolitan and Roulouhan
Curry and lu lohan are also popular. The Neapolitan with a raw egg on top is a hearty dish that appeals to the stomachs of working people. Come for a relaxing chat with friends or a cup of coffee by yourself. Or stop by for takeout on your way to work. It's a place you'll remember and want to stop by at a moment's notice.
