The boarding ticket from Osaka's Itami Airport, where Kaiyukan is located, to New Chitose Airport, the closest airport to Otaru Aquarium, includes the destination, name, departure date and time, flight number, and even seat number, just like humans. And even a message! It seems to show how much Mizore was loved in Osaka.

Mizore was born on April 1, 2021 at Kaiyukan, an aquarium in Osaka. In November 2023, Mizore came to Otaru Aquarium, 1,000 km away from the aquarium, to be bred.
Even today, Mizore's popularity remains strong, with many fans coming from far and wide to see him.

Mizore has traveled 1,000 kilometers. You may be surprised to learn that seals can fly. Generally, animals are boarded in the back of airplanes as cargo. This is done with great care, especially when transporting aquarium animals by air, as they are transported in a waterless environment.
The entire process of Mizore's move was closely followed by television. It recorded the parting with Kaiyukan staff members and boarding the plane strictly in a wooden box.

Normally, when animals such as dogs and cats are transported by cargo, boarding tickets are not issued like those for humans. We spoke with ANA Cargo, the company that transported Mizore this time.
When we learned that Mizore was a popular animal at Kaiyukan, loved by many visitors and lovingly cared for by Kaiyukan's keepers, we decided to create a special boarding pass based on an employee's idea, hoping that Mizore would not be transported as luggage (cargo), but would board like a customer.
This shows the popularity of Mizore, who is loved by many people, and the warmth and consideration of the employees.
