Hakodate Winter Fireworks (Hakodate City)

Large fireworks are set off over Midori no Shima (Green Island) in Hakodate Bay 🎆
Seeing them in combination with the snow is a unique treat of this season's fireworks.
Part of the fun is finding your favorite spot to watch them from, as they can be viewed from various locations 👀
Drift Ice and the Garinko-go (Monbetsu City)
The blue of the sky is beautiful thanks to the clean air, and the orange Garinko-go icebreaker ship stands out wonderfully as it moves through the pure white drift ice, viewed from the observation deck of the Okhotsk Tower. The winter scenery of drift ice, which can only be seen in Hokkaido in Japan, was truly breathtaking.

This drift ice scenery can only be seen on the Sea of Okhotsk in Hokkaido ❄
The sight of the ship crushing the drift ice with its large drills as it moves forward is incredibly powerful!
Cruises are also available in other seasons for fishing or to coincide with fireworks festivals, making it a great recommendation for summer vacation leisure as well.
