AOAO SAPPORO Celebrates 1st Anniversary! New-style "Museum Marche" opens on July 2 (Tuesday) to promote interest in living creatures!
AOAO SAPPORO, an urban aquarium on Raccoon Alley in Sapporo, which will celebrate its first anniversary in July 2024, has opened a new shop inside the museum to commemorate the occasion! The name of the store is "GOOD CONNECTION," a museum marché where multiple stores will open their doors and visitors can enjoy different exhibitions and events each season. What kind of experience can you expect?

Shiretoko Shari, a general incorporated association that promotes the attractions of the World Natural Heritage site Shiretoko and plans and sells products from Shiretoko and Shari Town, has opened Shiretoko Sustainable Station, the first external visitor center in Shiretoko, out of Shari Town. The center will exhibit Shiretoko photos, sell Shiretoko Toko-san, the symbol of Shiretoko, and hold events to promote Shiretoko's nature and culture.

WONDER BOOKS, a bookstore where visitors can encounter the wonders of life and living things
Spinning out from the "Library Aquarium (Room of Observation and Discovery)" zone on the 5th floor of AOAO SAPPORO, where there is an exhibit combining books and an aquarium, is a bookstore that introduces the fascination of living things. With the cooperation of "Bunka Roppongi," Tokyo's "bookstore for meeting books," special exhibitions and other events using books as a gateway will be held.
A bookstore that offers culture with an admission fee, and in December 2023, held a special exhibition "Fin Exhibition - Reading Aquarium" in collaboration with AOAO SAPPORO.

WONDER WINE" pop-up store for Hokkaido wines
A pop-up store introducing and selling Hokkaido wines. With the cooperation of the Hokkaido University Wine Education and Research Center, distinctive wines that showcase Hokkaido's natural and culinary attractions will be introduced.
*Scheduled to start in late July.
This research center was established within Hokkaido University to conduct education and research for the sustainable development of Hokkaido's wine industry. It encompasses not only natural science fields such as meteorology, soil science, agronomy, oenology, agricultural engineering, and agricultural economics, but also various academic fields including social science, and is engaged in education, research, and human resource development for the sustainable development of the wine industry.

New key visuals are now available!
AOAO SAPPORO is celebrating its first anniversary with a new key visual that expresses the experience of the museum through onomatopoeia, which will be used in future posters and advertising media. The key visuals will be used in posters, advertisements, and other media. The visuals will be accompanied by "repetitive words" that make you want to say "nyorinyorinyo" and "yurayorinyo" to express the fun AOAO SAPPORO is for children and adults alike.
