This event is held at "Niji no Hiroba," a popular cosmos field that boasts one of the largest scales in Japan, located in the vast urban park "Taiyo no Oka Engaru Park." Every year, many people visit to enjoy the various types of cosmos in shades of pink, white, red, and yellow, along with the event's festivities.

This is a festival to enjoy wine and gourmet food under the clear autumn sky. At the "Northern Harvest Festival Wine Carnival," which will be held on a large scale for the last time this year, you can enjoy not only Otaru wine but also craft beer made at the winery and local Otaru cocktails. There will also be food stalls selling gourmet dishes that pair well with wine, and stage shows to liven up the festival even more.

Packed with dairy-themed events: "Tsurui Village Furusato Festival" (Tsurui Village)

This is the largest festival in Tsurui Village. It features dairy-themed events that visitors can participate in, such as a milk-drinking contest and a cow-mooing contest, as well as a parade of a portable shrine made of hay rolls.

Additionally, the venue will have food and merchandise booths, a corner for freshly made mochi (rice cakes), and even a barbecue area. Fresh potatoes will also be on sale, allowing you to enjoy the various flavors of Tsurui Village.

The "Forest Cafe & Concert," where you can enjoy a concert and cafe in the middle of the forest, will be held again this year. This festival is held at Hachironuma Park in Hokuto City, a popular spot for its beautiful autumn foliage. The venue, surrounded by nature, will be lined with stalls selling local specialties and delicious gourmet food. There will also be a fluffy dome featuring Hokuto City's popular character, "Zushihocky."

A cultural festival set in Sapporo's Susukino: "Kamogawa Nostalgia 2024" (Sapporo City)

Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, "Kamogawa Nostalgia" is a cultural festival set in the town of Susukino. Over two days, various events will be held, including the "Sapporo Geisha Dance Viewing," a rare opportunity to see geishas dance; "Susukino Ghost Stories," where you can listen to the classic ghost story "Miminashi Hoichi" at a temple; and the "Sapporo BOZU Collection," a fashion show of Buddhist monks from five different sects.

Enjoy a different atmosphere at the shopping street's "Yuyake Ichi" (Sunset Market) (Naganuma Town)

This is a long-standing event held in the Hondori shopping street, the central part of Naganuma Town. On the day of the event, the national highway becomes a pedestrian-only zone, allowing you to enjoy a different atmosphere of the shopping street. In addition to sales of fresh local vegetables, flea markets, and flowers, there will also be street performances, fun game tournaments, and performances of dance, brass bands, and taiko drums.

Experience event management on-site: "'Trial' Community Development Cooperator in Tokachi-Urahoro Town!" (Urahoro Town)

An overnight tour is being held where you can experience the work of a Community Development Cooperator in Urahoro Town. The main part of the tour is to assist in managing "Ura-Mon GO!", an event themed "Get Urahoro's delicious food!", which is run by farmers from Urahoro Town, as a Community Development Cooperator.

You will support children in harvesting vegetables and help prepare dishes using the harvested vegetables. By actually experiencing the town's initiatives as a staff member and communicating with the people living in Urahoro Town, you can have fun learning about the town through this experiential tour.
