ES CON FIELD HOKKAIDO, the new baseball stadium that serves as the home base for the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters, is located in Kitahiroshima City, next to Sapporo, and is visited by many people from all over the country, not only during the season but at any time of the year. There are several ways to get to F Village, where ES CON FIELD is located, including by JR, bus, or rental car. We will introduce details such as travel times and fares for each option.

The standard way to get around: JR. How to get to the nearest JR Kitahiroshima Station.

JR Hokkaido

The standard way to travel from Sapporo to Kitahiroshima is by JR. To travel between Sapporo Station and Kitahiroshima Station using JR, take the Rapid Airport train bound for New Chitose Airport, which takes about 17 minutes. Alternatively, take a local train bound for Chitose or Tomakomai, which takes about 25 minutes. The fare for either option is 540 yen.

By the way, there are three types of trains at the airport: rapid service, limited express service, and special rapid service, so be careful as they are easy to confuse. The limited express service stops at JR Kitahiroshima Station and arrives in the same time as the rapid service, about 16 minutes, but the special rapid service does not stop at Kitahiroshima Station. Similarly, if you are taking the airport service from New Chitose Airport to Kitahiroshima Station, the limited express service does not stop at Kitahiroshima Station, so please be careful when boarding.
