"Looks Delicious!" Shiba Inu Covered in Snow Looks Just Like a "Sugar-Coated Fried Bread"? "Too Cute to Eat!"

Winter has finally arrived in Hokkaido. While walking their Shiba Inu in the snow, the owner captured an incredibly cute moment with their beloved dog. After posting it, the photo quickly went viral on social media. What exactly did it show?

This is a cute piece of fried bread covered in lots of sugar.

The photo shows a Shiba Inu that looks just like an "agepan" (a Japanese fried bread) generously coated in sugar! With its fluffy fur and snow-covered appearance, comments on social media poured in, such as, "What a cute little fried bread dog," "It really looks like sugar," and "Too cute to eat!"

The adorable "fried bread" is actually a Shiba Inu named Ichi-chan, born in Hokuto City, Hokkaido. We spoke with the owner about Ichi-chan, who loves the snow.

"Ichi-chan loves walking in the snow. She enjoys sniffing every footprint left by her friends, playing with snowballs we throw for her, and digging at and breaking snowmen..."

"Since her walks in other seasons are mostly just about feeling the breeze, seeing her run around in the snow makes me smile, thinking about how much she must have been looking forward to this season."
