"Snow Miku" is a character that supports Hokkaido, developed by Crypton Future Media, INC. She was born in 2010 at the "Sapporo Snow Festival" when a snow sculpture of a "pure white Hatsune Miku" was created. Since then, the "SNOW MIKU" festival, starring Snow Miku, has been held in Hokkaido every year. The costume design for Snow Miku at the festival is publicly solicited each year based on a theme, and the theme for 2025 is "Glittering Snow Material." Currently, she serves as an ambassador for various initiatives to promote Hokkaido and collaborates with companies and other characters, expanding her support activities in many directions. She has also been a Sapporo Tourism Ambassador since September 2024.
