Developed by Crypton Future Media, Inc., this character is a Hokkaido supporter. It was born from the creation of a pure white snow sculpture of Hatsune Miku at the 2010 Sapporo Snow Festival. Since then, the SNOW MIKU festival, starring Snow Miku, has been held annually in Hokkaido. Each year, a theme is set and designs for the costume worn by Snow Miku at the festival are publicly solicited, with the 2025 theme being "Sparkling Snow Material."
