"Snow Miku" is a character that supports Hokkaido, developed by Crypton Future Media, INC. She was born in 2010 when a pure white snow sculpture of "Hatsune Miku" was created for the "Sapporo Snow Festival." Since then, the "SNOW MIKU" festival, starring Snow Miku, has been held in Hokkaido every year. The outfit design for Snow Miku at the festival is chosen through a public competition with a different theme each year, and the theme for 2025 has been decided as "Glittering Snow Material." Today, she serves as an ambassador for various initiatives to promote Hokkaido and collaborates with companies and other characters, expanding her support activities in many directions. She has also been serving as a Sapporo Tourism Ambassador since September 2024.
