"The more you zoom in, the cuter it gets" - High school student takes this photo! ◯◯◯◯ playing hide-and-seek in the snow is too cute "I want to hug her tight"
Something pure white peeking out from the pure white snowfield... This photo taken in the Hokkaido wilderness is currently a hot topic.
The thing peeking out is a wild "Least Weasel." Least weasels are a type of weasel that live mainly in Hokkaido and northern Honshu, and are said to be the "smallest carnivorous animal in the world." With its fluffy, pure white body covered in winter fur, it looks just like a snow fairy! It's so cute that social media was flooded with comments such as "I had to zoom in to see it," "Oh, so cute," and "I want to squeeze it tight." The response was more than 70,000 likes.
The photo was taken by high school students in Hokkaido.
The poster is Kocha, a third-year high school student who takes photos of wild animals in the mountains and parks of Hokkaido. He started taking photos after entering high school, and posts photos on social media every day with the desire to let as many people as possible know about the richness of Hokkaido's nature.
"I would be happy if people could feel the richness and beauty of Hokkaido's nature through my photos," says Kocha. Please take a look at Kocha's photos and feel the lively expressions of the animals!
