When I was sorting through my receipts... I didn't notice 🐍
What the poster noticed was a "stylish touch" hidden in the receipts. The characters for "Dragon," the zodiac sign for 2024, and "Snake," the zodiac sign for 2025, are casually written within the Secoma logo. What's more, the receipt for "Dragon" had a New Year's greeting attached, saying "Thank you for this year," while the receipt for "Snake" had a "We look forward to your continued support this year."
As soon as the image of this receipt was posted on X, it received 170,000 likes, and in the comments, many users expressed enjoyment for Secoma's playfulness, saying things like "Secoma is amazing," "I didn't notice," "The beauty of small details is amazing," and "They do such a classy thing."
According to the poster, Rie Kimura, the receipt for "Tatsu" was dated December 31st, and the receipt for "Snake" was dated January 1st. These characters may be hidden in the receipts you have received.
This is not the only time! Here are some of the elaborate "receipt tricks" we've done so far.
In fact, this is not the first time that Secoma has incorporated a playful element into its receipts. For the 2024 Christmas season, Santa appeared on the receipt and a flipbook-like story unfolded.
Additionally, exactly one year from now, on New Year's Day in 2024, there will be an attempt to depict a different Seven Lucky Gods on each day.
