Heavy snow and Furano route

The Daisetsu-Furano route, which runs through the foothills and heart of the Daisetsu-Tokachi mountain range, is decorated with beautiful patchwork-like hilly fields and flowers such as lavender, making it a popular setting for movies, TV dramas, and commercials. In addition to being blessed with high-quality agricultural products such as potatoes and wheat, the area is also home to numerous hot springs, including the Tokachi-dake Onsen and Fukiage Open-air Baths, providing an environment where time flows slowly and the soul is soothed.

Let's go for a drive right away!

SPOT 4 Daisetsu Asahidake spring water

Daisetsu Asahidake spring water

The mysterious water "Daisetsu Asahidake Source Water" is the result of melting snow from Mt. Asahidake permeating the natural filters over a long period of time. It is the highest quality water from Higashikawa, a town that is rare nationwide in that it does not have a running water system. This natural water is rich in minerals and has a good balance, making it so popular that many people bring tanks or plastic bottles to collect water every day. Anyone can collect water freely.
