"Lemon Drizzle Cake" 620 yen (1,250 yen with a drink set)

The café's specialty is its seasonal, original cakes made with fresh, in-season ingredients. Currently (as of April), they are serving a "Lemon Drizzle Cake" made with an abundance of domestic lemons. This British-born cake is known for its refreshing tartness from ample lemon juice and a deep, complex sweetness. It's a classic cake for this season, and many fans look forward to it every year.

Furthermore, the attention to detail extends beyond the ingredients to the design of the tableware. The presentation is crafted to be visually appealing, offering a menu that is truly a "feast for the eyes."

"Seasonal Single-Origin Coffee Costa Rica" 680 yen

The single-origin coffee is a seasonal selection chosen to pair perfectly with the cake of the season. The current offering, "Costa Rica," features a fruity aroma, a soft acidity, and a deep richness that further enhances the flavor of the cake. Brewed with a French press, it allows the unique character of the beans to be fully enjoyed. The coffee beans are sourced from the popular Sapporo shop "Coffee and Sweets Tsugumi," which has a reputation for its high quality.

A Must for Tea Lovers Too! Certified by the Japan Tea Association as a "Shop with Delicious Tea"

Order a pot of tea and you can choose your favorite cup.

KINO CAFÉ is also one of the few establishments in Hokkaido certified by the Japan Tea Association as a "Shop with Delicious Tea" (there are only six certified shops in the prefecture). They use tea leaves from "Uf-fu," a specialty shop in Hyogo Prefecture, and also offer the leaves for purchase and provide lessons on how to brew them.

For those who want to fully enjoy the tea, the "Cake Plate" (1,200 yen) is highly recommended, featuring half-sizes of four different cakes and a cookie. In addition, a wide range of other menu items are available, including a quiche plate and sandwiches made with bread from the Ishikari bakery "Tomtoi," ensuring there's something for everyone, from adults to children.
