A mysterious new item called "Object X" is being sold at a store in Hokkaido University and is creating a buzz. It feels like something I've seen before, but what is it?

It's a sweet treat that everyone has probably seen at least once, and the name of which is often a topic of discussion. On social media, various comments were posted, such as "Isn't that the one that you can't call by its name?", "In Hokkaido, surely that's the only way to call it?", "What kind of baked goods is that...?", etc., and it caused a big stir.

[Object X] Rating ★★★★★ The outside is crispy and the inside is chewy, and when you cut into the dough, what emerges is the trusty bean paste filling. The texture of the dough and the subtle sweetness of the bean paste are a pleasant match. There are many different factions regarding the name and contents of this sweet, but the deliciousness remains the same.

The product name was decided by voting.

This "Object X" was sold by the Hokkaido University Co-op Student Committee, which conducts various activities for Hokkaido University students. The official product name was decided by a vote that could be participated in in-store or via QR code, and many votes were cast in the sticker vote in the store. (Sales and voting ended on May 23rd.)

In the interim results, "Oyaki" was the most popular name among people from Hokkaido, while "Imagawayaki" and "Obanyaki" were more popular in other regions. There were also many other names for it.
