Whooper swans, which normally spend their winter in the coniferous forests of Eurasia, migrate about 3,000 kilometers to this area for wintering. This migratory bird, which can be seen only from around November to March, gives us a sense of the grandeur of the world.

This is a very soothing picture of two monkeys looking out through a hole in a tree with big eyes at the same time!
It is said that Ezo flying squirrels do not hibernate, but huddle together in these holes to pass the winter without being active.
I wish I could spend all winter admiring their cute appearance, which is only possible at this time of year, as they have eaten a lot to plump up for overwintering..!
