"There's something extra in the pasture." The video, posted with this surprised comment, shows a tiny foal snuggling close to its mother. This is at a farm in Hokkaido. Although there was heavy rain the previous night, the next morning, the poster went to the pasture as usual and discovered a newborn foal.

"It looks like it was just born. I'm so glad it wasn't during last night's heavy rain," the post also expresses a sense of relief.

Safely Sheltered and Growing Strong!

The foal was immediately taken to the stable after being discovered and is now being well cared for. It drank its first milk (colostrum) properly and quickly started walking around, much to everyone's relief.

While the surprise "natural birth" was a shock, the foal is growing up healthy and strong. We can't wait to see how it grows!
