In late December, the "crystal ice" formed when the river froze over and the sun rising over the solitary pine tree were very impressive. Although it was very cold, I was impressed by the scenery that can only be seen at this time of year.

The closest station to the Sea of Okhotsk If you're lucky, you can take a photo with the drift ice in the background. This was my second visit, and unfortunately I wasn't able to take a photo of the drift ice again, but I was able to take a photo of the Senmo Main Line running through the snow after sunset.

I visited the spot in the extreme cold to capture a photo of the winter Milky Way together with the trees. The conditions were so good that the Milky Way was visible to the naked eye, and I enjoyed a natural planetarium while taking photos.
