The photo was posted by Nanami, a huge sea otter enthusiast. She traveled to Hokkaido for the first time specifically to meet the wild sea otters that inhabit the Doto (Eastern Hokkaido) area and was able to capture this shot.
Seeing a wild sea otter for the first time in Hokkaido, Nanami says, "Their strong and resilient way of life in the great outdoors is truly fascinating and captivating."
