"Snow Miku" is a character created to support Hokkaido, born when Crypton, a private company in Sapporo, made a "pure white snow sculpture" of the virtual singer "Hatsune Miku" for the 61st Sapporo Snow Festival in 2010. She also serves as a Sapporo Tourism Ambassador.
