Seal Enthusiast Kao on the Charms of the Tokkari Center

The person who posted the photos is Kao, a self-proclaimed "Azarer" (a Japanese term for a seal enthusiast). The adorable corn dog-like seal in the picture is Tsuki-chan, who was born at the Tokkari Center this March.

According to Kao, the charm of the Tokkari Center lies in its up-close-and-personal outdoor setting. You can observe the seals more intimately, hearing their calls, the splash of water, smelling the air, and seeing how their fur changes day by day.
