Spreading his front flippers wide like an airplane soaring through the sky, this is the seal Mashiro-kun striking a "zoom" pose. His somewhat proud expression has garnered comments like "Confidently cute" and "His expression is the best," melting the hearts of many with his cuteness.
Mashiro, Rescued from the Pure White Snow
Mashiro was originally a wild seal, rescued in December 2024 after being found on a blanket of pure white snow. Since then, he has been learning to adapt to the outdoor pool in the facility's treatment and recovery area, the "seal pen." Now, he is fully accustomed to the environment and swims energetically in the main pool with the other seals.

Neru-san, who posted the photo, is one of the fans warmly watching over Mashiro's growth. She was completely captivated by Mashiro when he first came out of the treatment room for training in August 2025, and now visits the Tokkari Center as often as twice a month.
