Hokkaido is insane...
This is one of the most scenic roads I've ever seen in my life...

The photo shows Prefectural Road 34, the Erimo Park Line, which leads to Cape Erimo, the southernmost tip of the Hidaka Mountains. The beauty of this single road stretching through nature has drawn comments on social media like, "I want to go!", "It has this 'end of the world' vibe, which is awesome," and "I'd love to drive there."

A Journey Through Hidaka and Tokachi, with Destinations Crowdsourced from Social Media!

The person who shared this wonderful view is JAXX0053, who lives outside of Hokkaido. They are a huge fan of the island, having once cycled nearly its entire circumference.

This particular trip to the Hidaka and Tokachi regions was unique: they visited "recommended spots" crowdsourced from social media followers. Relying on the nearly 400 authentic recommendations received, they enjoyed a fulfilling drive. Despite having visited Hokkaido many times, JAXX0053 said they were constantly moved by the beauty of its nature and roads.

The roads in Hokkaido are just too scenic...
Having white birches and lupines growing wild everywhere is just unfair...

On this drive, they fully enjoyed the vast, Hokkaido-esque roads, including the "Golden Road" coastline from Erimo to Hiroo, the straight-as-an-arrow Prefectural Road 1037 to Taiki, and National Route 273 through the mountains of Kamishihoro. They also shared that they were deeply moved by the beauty of the Taushubetsu River Bridge, a "phantom bridge" that appears in Lake Nukabira.

What was so amazing here was that water was springing up from beneath the tree stumps...
It was so beautiful I wondered if such a scene could even exist in this world.
