When you think of summer in Sapporo, Hokkaido, you might picture the Odori Park Beer Garden, where 13,000 people gather under the open sky to raise a glass! This iconic event has long been a part of the "Sapporo Summer Festival," but due to the effects of COVID-19, it was held on a smaller scale in 2020 and was unfortunately canceled in 2021.

In response, the "Sapporo Online Summer Festival" was newly launched in 2020, and this year it will be held from August 14 (Sat) to 29 (Sun), 2021. The opening program will be streamed on YouTube starting at 17:00 on the first day, August 14.

And so, Domingo is also participating in the opening of the "Sapporo Online Summer Festival"! To kick things off, we have a special gift from Domingo to help you feel the essence of Sapporo!

We're giving away a "Sapporo Support Set" to one lucky winner, packed with Sapporo's most iconic foods: soup curry, miso ramen, Genghis Khan (Jingisukan), Shiroi Koibito, and of course, beer. Enjoy a taste of Sapporo right at home!

This "Sapporo Support Set" is a special package featuring the famous Sapporo specialties that will be introduced on the "Summer Sapporo Gourmet Bus Tour with a Bus Guide ≪Sapporo Summer Festival × Sapporo Kanko Bus × Niconico≫" on August 21 (Sat)!

Additionally, the Sapporo Online Summer Festival will feature live performances by artists, a virtual toast and Bon Odori dance with Jingisukan's mascot Jin-kun, spooky summer ghost stories, and a grand finale with a fireworks display streamed from within Sapporo city.

For the opening on the 14th, Domingo's editor-in-chief, Hattori, will appear as the host. Along with guests, he will introduce the highlights and history of the "Sapporo Online Summer Festival."
