The spots where you want to stop!
1〈Viewpoints/Excellent Roads〉Lifestyle-created food scenery - Japan's No.1 soba road
Because soba is Japan's No. 1 buckwheat crop in terms of both production and acreage, the landscape of soba stretches on forever. In summer, pure white flowers bloom all over the area, and the red stalks that remain after the fall harvest are as beautiful as coral reefs. The view from the "soba no hana (buckwheat flower) viewpoint" recommended by the community is breathtaking. Fragrant new buckwheat noodles begin to appear from late August to early September. Be sure to try some!

3Great River of the North Teshio River
The Teshio River is a rare primordial river in Japan and a Hokkaido Heritage Site. The river surface freezes over due to the severe winter cold, and in spring, the dynamic appearance of the river is a highlight as chunks of snow and ice move like floating ice. Many people enjoy canoeing on the gentle flow of the river and its natural surroundings. It is one of the famous spots facing the "place named after Hokkaido," which is said to have been invented by Takeshiro Matsuura, an explorer in the late Edo and Meiji periods.
