The Royal Express Hokkaido Cruise Train just started last year, and this is the second time it is being offered this year.
Moreover, it is only in operation from August to September! Nice timing to capture the moment 🚊.
Departing from Sapporo, this 4-day/3-night trip takes passengers from Obihiro/Tokachi to Kushiro/Shiretoko, Okhotsk/Kitami, Asahikawa/Biei/Furano.
If you have a chance, I would like to ride it at least once!

I thought it was white sand, but the road was made of crushed scallop shells 🛣.
It is a picture full of Hokkaido's typical feeling of green and the sea at the same time in the hills!
You can drive along the 3-kilometer-long seashell road, but it is also nice to walk slowly.
I would definitely like to visit on a sunny, green day in summer!
