Sapporo City is currently working towards realizing a universal city, including considering the enactment of the "(tentative name) Coexistence Society Promotion Ordinance." Regardless of age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or illness, nationality, ethnicity, language, religion, culture, etc., we will hold a workshop where participants can share the barriers they usually feel and think about what can be done to eliminate them in order to realize a "society where everyone recognizes each other's individuality and abilities and diversity is a strength" (coexistence society).

At the workshop, we plan to introduce the outline of the current "(tentative name) Coexistence Society Promotion Ordinance." Opinions generated from the workshop discussions will be used in the review of this ordinance.

You can choose to participate in this workshop either in person or online. Please apply using the method that is easiest for you.

On the day, participants will be divided into groups of about six people and exchange opinions on the theme of "Let's make Harmony! SAPPORO" - Towards a universal (coexistence) Sapporo together. They will share ideas about the barriers they feel and what they can do.

Please prepare your own computer, web camera, and other necessary equipment and communication environment.
*After the workshop, we will hold an after-workshop (networking event) where participants can talk more freely with people in their same group, as well as with people outside their group (participation is optional).
