Nemuro City will hold a Disaster Prevention Specialist Training Course to foster local disaster prevention leaders and improve local disaster prevention capabilities, including revitalization of voluntary disaster prevention activities.

What is a Disaster Prevention Specialist?
A certified disaster prevention specialist is a person who is expected to engage in activities to enhance disaster preparedness in various social settings based on the principles of "self-help," "mutual help," and "collaboration," and who has acquired sufficient awareness and a certain level of knowledge and skills for such activities, as certified by the Japan Association of Certified Disaster Prevention Specialists.

Contents:
The course consists of 12 items from the Disaster Prevention Manual.
After the course, take the certification examination.

Target: Nemuro citizens

Capacity: 50 people *In case of oversubscription, priority will be given to those from voluntary disaster prevention organizations, etc.
