Natural Science Corporation (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Reiko Komatsu), a manufacturer and seller of cosmetics and quasi-drugs, is currently holding the "Encountering the Jomon in Winter at Natu no Mori" exhibition at its flagship facility "Natu no Mori" (Shiraoi-cho, Hokkaido), where visitors can sharpen their senses and expand their imagination, which are often forgotten in their daily lives. The "Encountering the Jomon in Natu no Mori Exhibition" is being held from March 15, 2024 to October 20, 2024 at the flagship facility Natu no Mori (Shiraoi-cho, Hokkaido).

This exhibition has been well received as a way to experience the lifestyle and culture of the Jomon period using all five senses, and as of September, the number of visitors reached 20,000, which prompted us to hold the second exhibition, "Encountering the Jomon in Winter at Natu no Mori" from November 1, 2024 to February 24, 2025.

The "Encountering the Jomon in the Natu Forest" exhibition is currently being held under the slogan "The Jomon is full of riddles, which is why it is interesting! The exhibition is an enjoyable experience for children and adults alike, allowing visitors to see, feel, and experience the differences between the Jomon period in Hokkaido and the Jomon period on the mainland, as well as the lifestyle, food culture, and fashion of the Jomon period, which lasted for over 10,000 years.

Visitors commented, "It was very easy to understand with lots of illustrations and pop-ups! Even children can enjoy it! It was interesting to actually experience hunting deer with a bow and arrow, and it was difficult to actually hit the deer! It is a good opportunity to get to know the Jomon culture.

We will introduce information and images of "winter" life, including winter fashion, winter living, winter housing, winter dining, winter hunting, and more.

We hope that the Jomon culture, lifestyle, and spirituality will provide us with hints and inspiration to connect with the present day.

This exhibition is designed to provide new discoveries and exploration for those who have already visited the exhibition and for those who have not yet visited. Please come this winter! and ? and Q's that will be sure to come back to the Jomon world. We look forward to seeing you at the exhibition.
