In the familiar landscape of our town, there are cultural assets and products of our ancestors, and behind these assets are the stories of their hardships and successes. We will hold a forum to reflect once again on cultural assets and the stories of our predecessors, and to consider the attractiveness and characteristics of the region.

In this forum, we will also introduce the "Nakashibetsu Town Regional Plan for the Preservation and Utilization of Cultural Properties" (hereafter abbreviated as "the Regional Plan"), which was approved by the Commissioner of the Agency for Cultural Affairs on December 15, 2023, and introduce the research and activities of the voluntary organization "Nakashibetsu Shirube Tsunagi-kai" which was established after the plan was formulated. The purpose of this event is to introduce the contents of the "Regional Plan for the Conservation of Cultural Properties in Nakashibetsu" (abbreviated as "Regional Plan" below), as well as to introduce the research and activities of the Nakashibetsu Shirube Tsunagi-kai, a voluntary organization established after the Plan was formulated.
