Shimokawa Town is also the birthplace of ice candles in Japan. This year, an ice candle event will be held in February, where the whole town will be illuminated in amber light.
The ice candles sparkling in the icy space are an extraordinary sight. The entire town will be transformed into an ice candle venue, so you can walk around the city and find various ice candle spots to enjoy.
