After the tour, visit tourism and urban development initiatives

We will be holding a 3-day, 2-night tour from February 24th to 26th, where you can get to know and experience Urahoro Town!
What you can do on this tour
①Exchange opinions with the Mayor of Urahoro!
You will have the opportunity to have a discussion with the mayor of Urahoro Town, which has a population of 4,100, who is actually involved in town development.
This is a rare opportunity to talk to you face to face!
②Factory tour: Tamaki Machinery Co., Ltd.
Tamaki Machinery Industry Co., Ltd. was established in 1967 and started out as an ironworks, mainly producing forestry cranes. Their products are shipped not only within Hokkaido but also to the Tohoku region, making a significant contribution to labor-saving in the forestry industry.
3. Factory tour: Kinoshita Forestry Co., Ltd.
Kinoshita Forestry Co., Ltd. was founded in Urahoro Town. To commemorate its 100th anniversary, a new office was built using Urahoro Town-grown oak and other woods. The company's business activities include lumber processing, which processes logs into lumber and boards, the manufacture and sale of wood chips, and management of company-owned and privately owned forests.
