The largest jazz festival in Japan, which began in 2007, has the concept of "Sapporo becoming a jazz town." Artists from Japan and abroad perform, and jazz events are held in various locations throughout the city. The "Park Jazz Live," where about 300 groups from all over the country perform, is free to attend.

The Sapporo Art Park Outdoor Stage's "North Jam Session" hosts live performances by top artists from Japan and abroad, and you can watch in any style you like, such as sitting or lying down on the grass.
