The Kamiyubetsu Tulip Fair is held every year from May 1st to early June, when the tulips are in full bloom. This is a famous flower spot that attracts many tourists every year. On the vast grounds, which cover a total area of 125,000 square meters and a cultivated area of 70,000 square meters, you can enjoy about 200 varieties of tulips, including rare varieties imported from the Netherlands, the home of tulips.

You can get a panoramic view of the entire park from the Dutch windmill-shaped observation deck. The neighboring "Furusatokan JRY" is a local history museum of the town that was developed by the Tondenhei soldiers, and mainly exhibits materials related to the Tondenhei soldiers.
