Glaucianus glaucidum, a species endemic to Japan, is designated as an endangered species in Hokkaido. In the Takino Forest Zone and Natural Museum Park, the number of Glaucianus glaucidum is gradually increasing through conservation efforts by volunteers, and during this period, the colonies of the flowering Glaucianus glaucidum blooming in the forest will be in full bloom. You can enjoy a walk through the forest with the small wildflowers blooming at your feet.
