Overview
❝The donkey prince plays the song of the moon on his lute
The stars shining in the night sky began to dance together.
The story features many scenes in which the main character, a donkey, plays the lute, a Renaissance musical instrument.
Enjoy the world of "The Donkey Prince" through a reading accompanied by lute music played in front of you and illustrations projected onto your screen.
The venue is the gallery and cafe "Pompiye House."
It was opened by picture book author and illustrator Suzuki Momo in July last year.
This performance was made possible thanks to a connection between Suzuki Momo, who illustrated the flyer image for the reading concert "The Donkey Prince."
On the first day of the performance, in addition to the main performance, we will hold a reading workshop called "Let's all read The Donkey Prince" by the reciter Usagi Yu. This is your chance to experience reading aloud to the sound of the lute. Please come and join us.
On the second day of the performance, Momo Suzuki will also be holding a painting workshop entitled "Painting the Lute and the Sound of the Lute." Why not try painting the emotions welling up in your heart after watching the performance under Momo's guidance?
