Overview

NoMaps2025 is a city-wide festival of technology, entertainment, and creativity that will be held in Sapporo, Hokkaido. Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the 2025 event will run for five days from September 10th (Wed) to 14th (Sun). A diverse program of talk sessions, live performances, exhibitions, meetups, and more will be held at approximately 50 venues scattered throughout central Sapporo.

This year's event will feature a variety of categories, including "CONFERENCE," which will invite a variety of guests from around the country to hold talk sessions on themes such as the evolution of technology like AI and changes in society and business; "SOCIAL," which will bring together a variety of players working to solve social issues in Hokkaido, which has long been known as a pioneering region for addressing social issues; and "WELLNESS," which will provide a place to make health more fun and accessible through the four themes of "moving, discussing, learning, and knowing."

In addition, new categories such as "FOOD," which promotes Sapporo and Hokkaido to the world as a "cutting-edge food region," "EXECUTIVE," "TECH," and "GOVERNMENT" have been added this year. Furthermore, a noteworthy program will be the "FUTURE THEATER," which utilizes generative AI in theater programs.
