I grew up in Nagaokakyo and currently live in Sapporo. I mainly create two-dimensional works using transparent watercolors, acrylics, gouache, and oil paints, as well as three-dimensional works using stone powder clay. I am not particularly particular about materials, themes, or concepts, but I create a series of microcosmic works that are a little scary, adorable, and have a floating feeling, somewhere between this world and the next.
(I create my works by sensing the small joys that run through my brain from head to toe, and by gathering at my fingertips the subtle ecstasy that wells up from my entire body.)
