This contemporary art exhibition features five artists and groups who were born, live, or have spent some time in Hokkaido. They keenly perceive the landscapes and natural phenomena before their eyes, and through their works, which express these in their own ways, including painting, sculpture, photography, video, and sound, they present new perspectives on the world around us.

The sunlight, mountain ridges, expanses of water, dancing flowers, the sparkle of snow, the luster of darkness, and the people who share these images reflected in their eyes may all be things that have once been before our eyes. These past scenes are reflected on the artist's body and appear before us once again as artworks. At that moment, we may discover a different way of looking at the familiar.

In an age where it is difficult to believe that the world will continue as it is today, we hope that this exhibition will help you rediscover this world and continue to feel joy and awe.
