Overview

This year marks the 63rd Obihiro Ice Festival. Obihiro is one of the coldest places in Hokkaido. In the bitterly cold, the ice sculptures create a beautiful, fantastical world.

There will be plenty of events, including experience booths where you can enjoy touching snow and ice, such as ice slides, rotating sleds, and snow bicycle test rides, as well as booths where you can enjoy ice masks made by elementary school students, fireworks that sparkle in the cold sky, ice sculptures, and more, and an ice market where you can enjoy Tokachi gourmet food.
