The Obihiro Ice Festival will be held for the 62nd time this year. There will be plenty of events, including experience booths where you can enjoy touching snow and ice, such as ice slides, rotating sleds, and snow bicycle test rides, as well as booths where you can enjoy ice masks made by elementary school students, fireworks sparkling in the cold sky, ice sculptures, and more, and an ice market where you can enjoy Tokachi gourmet food. A demonstration experiment of a self-driving bus is also planned.
