・Information session: From 7:30 PM in front of the large monitor on the first floor of the building (Saturdays and Sundays only)
At this time of year, you can observe Jupiter, which is at its peak, as well as winter's recommended nebulae and star clusters, using one of Japan's largest telescopes, the Rikuri Telescope. During the observation period, there is little influence from moonlight, so on clear days you can spot the Winter Milky Way along with the Winter Triangle. It gets very cold at night, so be sure to take precautions against the cold, such as wearing warm clothing, thick socks, and gloves, and enjoy the winter starry sky at your leisure.
