The Indian film "Ahaan," set in Mumbai, depicts the everyday life of Ahaan, a young man with Down's syndrome, in a straightforward yet comical way, and will be screened for the first time in Sapporo!

Mr. Mugifumi Akimoto, the representative of Seikatsu no Iryo Co., Ltd., a small publishing company that mainly deals in books on medical and health issues, was so impressed after seeing this film at an in-flight screening on an international flight that he acquired the distribution rights for the film in Japan. Despite being a film with a small release, the film has received high praise, including being featured by film critic Tomohiro Machiyama in the film introduction corner "American Drifter" on TBS Radio's "Connect." Please take this opportunity to see this film.

【story】
Ahaan, a young man with Down's syndrome, lives in Mumbai with his loving parents, but due to his parents' concern for what others think, he is restricted from going out, which makes him want to become independent, work, and get married.
Meanwhile, middle-aged Ozzy, a clean freak who imposes his own rules on everyone, has lost interest in his wife Anu and is living alone.
Meanwhile, Ahaan, a close friend of Anu, visits Ozzy's house, and Ozzy decides to use him to get a taste of his wife's home cooking. Thus begins a strange cooperative relationship between Ahaan, who wants to go out, and Ozzy, who wants to use Ahaan for his own convenience.
