Speakers will include director Koji Fukada, who has been highly praised both at home and abroad, including at the Cannes Film Festival, and author of the book "Workstyle Reform in Japanese Films" (his latest work is "Love Trial," released on January 23rd, distributed by Toho), and producer Susumu Yamaguchi, representative of Knock on Wood Co., Ltd., who has produced many international co-productions of films and streaming dramas (his latest work is "Rental Family," released on February 27th, distributed by Disney).
The initiator and moderator of the event is Yabu Keisuke, president of Yabu Planning Co., Ltd., a film-related company in Hokkaido, who has been holding symposiums and other events with Director Fukada since his student days.

The implementation objectives are the following three points.
1) As film production and film festivals in collaboration with local governments and businesses increase in Hokkaido, we will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of being involved in film and contribute to the participation of all participants.
② We will explore the possibilities for film production and film festivals in Hokkaido and Sapporo based on the latest information on overseas and outside Hokkaido.
③Furthermore, from the perspective of creators active both in Japan and overseas, we aim to tackle issues based on our extensive experience across creative environments both in Japan and overseas, and to use this time to educate and develop talent for those interested in the film industry and culture in Hokkaido.
