The Hokkaido Consortium Workshop, which began last year in 2025, will be held again this year as a three-part workshop series focused on Hokkaido's food issues, where young people can learn, discuss, and take action.

This program aims to go beyond simply learning about the current state of food and agriculture in Hokkaido; it aims to foster ideas and shape them into projects by connecting them with participants' own formative experiences and discomforts. The first program of 2026 will be held under the theme of "Food Culture x Cross-Border Community," where participants will learn the basics of food and agriculture in Hokkaido while also engaging in workshops that encourage reflection on their own relationship with food. Participants will come together across disciplines and positions to engage in dialogue, share food issues that concern them, and form teams based on their areas of interest.
