The solo exhibition 'REDLIST III・The Birds' by artist Mitsugu Aikawa, who depicts an allegorical world using lines and shapes as constituent elements, will be held.

The title's "Red List" refers to a list of wild creature species facing extinction. In this exhibition 'RED LIST III・The Birds', works depicting Red List designated birds inhabiting Hokkaido will be exhibited.

Mitsugu Aikawa
Born in 1976, residing in Sapporo City. Graduated from Hokkaido College of Art and Design. Started activities in 2008. Is in charge of the visuals for the Tobiu Art Festival, held annually in Shiraoi Town/Tobiu. In addition to artist activities such as solo exhibitions, Shirukio Project, geso portraito, Stopero Pinkusu, the spring-themed group exhibition 'Haru Urara', and live painting at outdoor music festivals etc., is widely active in mural production for stores and commercial facilities etc., production of commissioned works, and book cover illustrations etc.
