This is a battle-style concert featuring two groups: LaChoce, a trumpet ensemble active mainly in Sapporo, and the Low Brass Trio from Sapporo's first professional brass band, Sapporo Wind Soloists. (This is an event-style concert where the winner is decided by audience votes.)
Please enjoy the ensemble that makes the most of the characteristics of each instrument, featuring the high-pitched brass instrument "trumpet" and the low-pitched brass instruments "trombone, euphonium and tuba."
*Please note that the bass brass instruments may be subject to change.
<<Contest Contents>> Both teams will take turns performing the following four themes.
1. Fanfare "Brilliance vs. Depth"... A spectacular showdown that acts as a calling card for each instrument
2. Harmony: "Transparency vs. Warmth"... Competing to see which instrument has the most beauty
3. Rhythm/Technique: "Speed vs. Heartbeat"...A showdown of techniques showcasing the power of professionals

[Fee]
General admission ticket (free for infants and toddlers)
Adults: 1,000 yen (1,500 yen on the day)
■Children (junior high school students and younger): 500 yen
Premium admission ticket (with reserved seating)
■Adult: 2,000 yen
■Children (junior high school students and younger): 1,000 yen
*There are no age restrictions for admission.
*Preschool children do not need a premium admission ticket if they are watching on a parent's lap. If a seat is required, a ticket is required.

"Sapporo Brass Showdown" Group Viewing & Selectable On-site Lessons

This performance will feature an outreach initiative called "Door Ticket" to support local children who are passionate about music and to create opportunities for them to experience professional music. For schools that register as a group of 10 or more students, parents, and teachers, the performing artists will visit your school and provide special lessons tailored to your needs, free of charge(*).

Please take advantage of this opportunity to experience professional techniques up close and receive direct advice to help invigorate your club activities or team.

[Details of entrance ticket (with on-site lesson benefits)]
1. Target audience: Elementary and junior high school wind and brass bands, music groups, etc.
2. Conditions for the offer: Group applications of 10 or more students, parents, and instructors
3. Choice of lesson content: When you visit, you can choose one of the following.
・Private lessons (basics and advice for each instrument)
・Ensemble lessons (instruction for small groups)
・Ensemble lessons (teaching overall balance and expression)
4. Date and time: Based on the schedules of the performing artists, the secretariat will present several possible dates from which you can choose the date that is most convenient for your school.
5. Admission method (paperless): Paper tickets will not be issued. Your name will be checked at the reception on the day of the event based on the "attendee list" that you will send in advance.
(*) Artist fees and transportation costs for this project will be covered by the organizers.
