This is a battle-style concert featuring two groups: [LaChoce], which is active in trumpet ensemble activities mainly in Sapporo city, and two low brass trios from [Sapporo Kangaku Solisten], Sapporo's first professional wind orchestra. (This is an event-style concert where the winner is decided by audience votes.)
Please enjoy the ensemble that utilizes the characteristics of each instrument, played by the high brass instrument 'trumpet' and the low brass instruments 'trombone, euphonium & tuba'.
※Please note that there may be changes to the low brass instruments used. We appreciate your understanding.
《Battle Contents》……Both teams will perform alternately on the following '4 themes'
1. Fanfare 'Brilliance vs. Profundity'...A splendid battle that serves as a business card for each instrument
2. Harmony 'Transparency vs. Warmth'...Competing for the beauty of each instrument
3. Rhythm / Technique 'Speedy Technique vs. Pulse'...A technical battle showcasing the amazing skills of professionals

[Admission Fees]
General Admission Ticket (Infants and toddlers free)
■Adults: 1,000 yen (1,500 yen on the day)
■Children (junior high school age and younger): 500 yen
Premium Admission Ticket (with reserved seating)
■Adults: 2,000 yen
■Children (junior high school age and younger): 1,000 yen
※There are no age restrictions for admission.
※Regarding Premium Admission Tickets, preschoolers do not require a ticket only if they watch on a guardian's lap. If a seat is required, a ticket will be necessary.

Information on 'Sapporo Brass Battle' Group Viewing & Choice of On-site Lessons

At this performance, in order to support children who are dedicated to music in the region and create opportunities for them to experience professional sounds, we will implement an outreach project called [Genkan Ticket]. For schools that apply as a group of 10 or more students, guardians, and teachers combined, the performing artists will visit your school and provide special lessons tailored to your requests free of charge (※).

Please take advantage of this opportunity to experience professional techniques up close and receive direct advice, to revitalize your club activities or team.

【Genkan Ticket (with On-site Lesson Benefit) Details】
1. Eligibility: Elementary and junior high school wind orchestras, brass bands, music groups, etc.
2. Benefit Conditions: Group application of 10 or more students, guardians, and instructors combined
3. Choice of Lesson Content: You can choose one from the following upon visit.
・Individual Lesson (basics of each instrument, consultation on concerns)
・Ensemble Lesson (guidance for small groups)
・Full Ensemble Lesson (guidance on overall balance and expression)
4. Implementation Date and Time: Based on the performing artists' schedules, the secretariat will present several candidate dates. You will then choose a date convenient for your school from among them.
5. Admission Method (Paperless): Paper tickets will not be issued. Based on the 'attendee list' sent in advance, your name will be confirmed at the reception on the day.
(※) The artist's honorarium and transportation costs for this project will be borne by the organizer.
