ASAHIKAWA DESIGN WEEK is an event where people from various fields in Asahikawa get involved and you can encounter the charms of this city. While connecting diverse fields such as food, craftsmanship, architecture, and machinery/metals of the UNESCO City of Design, Asahikawa, a variety of projects like exhibitions, talks, and hands-on events will be held at various locations throughout the city.

The theme is "Life with.". What ASAHIKAWA DESIGN WEEK wants to cherish is to let the wonderful discoveries in daily life sprout abundantly in our lives. Let's pay a little attention to our not-so-special everyday lives and find something that's "kind of nice". Let it blossom into "that's why it's great". And we believe that the accumulation of these moments creates a life that is uniquely your own. ASAHIKAWA DESIGN WEEK offers "a few slightly wonderful days" to find that opportunity.
