"We will plant 15,000 flowers along the approximately 8km roadside!"
　This event started in 2003 when the Chitose Junior Chamber proposed planting flowers along National Route 36 with local elementary schools, and the circle of participation has since expanded to include local volunteers, companies, and related organizations. This year marks the 24th year, and to date, a total of about 11,500 people have participated, planting a total of about 545,000 flowers.
　This year's activity theme is "A Flower Journey to the World, Starting from the Flower Road!" We will decorate the roadside leading to Hokkaido's aerial gateway, "New Chitose Airport," with "hospitality flowers."
　Now recruiting general participants! Would you like to plant flowers with us? We look forward to your participation.
