Overview

Have you ever taken a close look at the "chirimenjako" (small dried sardines) that you usually eat? If you look very closely, you may find other creatures mixed in. The Maruyama Zoo Volunteer Association is holding a "Chiri-mon Observation Session" where they will explain the diversity and interconnectedness of living things while observing and sorting through this chirimenjako.

You can search for rare Chiri-mon such as seahorses and learn about the richness of marine life while having fun.
