The Taiwanese film 'The Cove Where the Whale Disappeared', released last summer, became a huge hit and had a long run nationwide.

Now, a nationwide revival screening has been decided, starting from Friday, August 7, 2026!

However, this film, which was screened at Satsugeki last year, is unfortunately not scheduled for a theatrical revival screening in Sapporo.

Therefore—

To commemorate the revival screening, a special screening will be held in Sapporo on Wednesday, July 22nd, which coincides with the date of the 'Kenting Summer Fireworks Festival 2023' that appears in the movie, in conjunction with the pre-screenings held in only 5 cities nationwide!

Moreover, it's the only outdoor screening in the entire country!
