A place of recreation and relaxation for town residents with a baseball field, park golf course, and multipurpose plaza.
Komagaoka Park is an area that includes a farmer training center, a baseball field, and a mountain forest. In 1988, the park was designated as a place for sports, recreation, and relaxation for the citizens of Shibecha, including the existing facilities.
Shibecha residents affectionately call this area "Gunma Mountain. The name is a remnant from the Meiji era, when Shibecha Town prospered as a military horse replenishment department. The path around the Gunma-Yama forest is a popular walking course where visitors can observe the flora and fauna around them, and in winter they can enjoy walking skiing and sledding.
