Overview

This is Kushiro City's biggest event, spectacularly marking the end of summer in Kushiro. The festival's name comes from the excitement of fireworks and the opportunity to chomp down on delicious seafood and other bounty from the earth at the many food stalls. On stage, there are character shows, singing shows, dance performances, and much more.

This fireworks display beautifully colors the Kushiro River and Kushiro Port. You can fully enjoy the power of the main fireworks, one of Hokkaido's largest, a three-foot firework, as well as the splendor of various star mines and continuous fireworks.
